Chua Architecture & Development is an architecture and real estate development firm, providing services in architectural design, construction management, and real estate development. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated designer who can work across disciplines of Architecture, Construction, and Real Estate Development. They should be able to construct clear drawings and diagrams using AutoCAD and Rhino. The candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. Among other tasks, the candidate will lead the projects through all phases of development: from feasibility studies and pre-design services, to financing, acquisition, design and construction, to marketing and sales. Candidates with experience in real estate development are preferred.
Experience & Qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
Degree in Real Estate Development preferred
7 or more years of relevant work experience, preferably in residential design
1-2 years Construction Administration experience
Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architecture
Independently performs advanced assignments in planning, design, and coordination
Ability to supervise and manage other designers
Experience in New York residential design and construction
Extensive knowledge in high-end residential detailing and construction standards
Expertise in AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape, V-Ray and proficiency in 3DSMax
Excellence in Photoshop and illustrator
Ability to work collaboratively in person and remotely
The ability to produce DD/CD details and documents with minimal supervision
Experience in Excel and financial modeling is preferred
