MKA ARCHITECTURE, LLC. (MKA) is an intentionally small, award-winning firm located in Brookline MA. Now in our 19th year, our practice centers around a small design studio environment with direct involvement in the entire process of construction. We are committed to creating architectural design at a high level, and making it accessible to all clients.

We are seeking a talented, highly motivated senior architect to help grow and shape the firm into the next generation.

Award-winning work by the firm include commercial, public, hospitality, multi-family housing as well as thoughtful residential project in all budgets. Several projects have been featured in publication and broadcast. Recent projects include an urban infill housing tower, a new suburban subdivision, multiple municipal and public contracts, and additions and renovations to an historic Emerald Necklace residence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage production of design and construction documents and overall work product

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work

  • Seek out and attend interviews with potential clients, develop proposals, scopes of work and fee estimating projections

  • Expand marketing across multi-media platforms, reinforce existing client base, identify new opportunities
