Course IV is coming to New York to celebrate 150 years of leadership in architecture! Join fellow alumni on June 22nd, 2018 for a reception at the New Museum of Contemporary Art on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. This event is jointly hosted by MITArchA (the MIT Architecture Alumni Affinity Group) and the MIT Club of New York and will overlap with the AIA Conference on Architecture 2018.

The event will begin with a cocktail reception at the Sky Room of the New Museum, followed by presentations from faculty, students, and alumni. A series of speakers including J. Meejin Yoon, Professor and Department Head, will share: an update on the state of the Department, research by students and faculty, and will discuss the Department's ambitions for the future of design education at MIT.

This reception is organized by Kenneth Namkung, MArch '03, New York-Area Representative for MITArchA, and Paul Pettigrew, MArch '88, Coordinator of Undergraduate Initiatives & Manager of Special Projects at the Department of Architecture.

This promises to be an exciting evening and we look forward to connecting with you all.
